Join Sears in Northumberland Mall to help send Kirk Fudge on a marathon 15-day ride across Canada beginning on September 9, 2010, to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. When their journey ends on the Atlantic coast in Halifax on September 23rd, riders will have travelled 7,000km. Local cyclist Kirk Fudge along with 42 cyclists traveling across Canada in the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride will be stopping at Sears in Northumberland Mall on Sunday, September 19th.
On Saturday, September 4th at noon, Sears in Northumberland Mall and the Cobourg community will be wishing Kirk Fudge well as he heads off as one of the cyclists of the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride, the longest charity cycling event of its kind in the world, on behalf of childhood cancer. Join us again when Kirk and his fellow cyclists stop for lunch in Cobourg Saturday, September 19th at 12:30 pm.
